“I absolutely love my coach and everything I have received from her for my daughter and I to thrive together now and in the future. This experience has really opened my eyes and means the world to me. I will carry a lot of the knowledge with me for the rest of my life. I consider my coach one of the greatest people I know and consider her a friend as well as a coach. Thank you so much, Shaun!”

Nakaya’s Story

The ultimate goals of Family Finding programs like ours are to improve a youth’s connection to their family and pull in all of the various forms of support family members and kin have to offer, ultimately creating a safety network for the entire family. In this video story, we are proud to share Nakaya’s experience of meeting her father and other family members for the first time through the efforts of our Family Finding staff.
