Annual Staff Celebration Day Held at the Vermont Granite Museum

Barre, VT September 22, 2025 – The Vermont Granite Museum was filled with vibrant orange and blue on Friday, September 19, as Easterseals VT staff from across the state came together for their annual Staff Celebration Day.

“This year’s gathering was extra special, as 2025 marks Easterseals VT’s 40th anniversary of providing vital support to at-risk children, foster youth, and families formed by adoption across Vermont,” said Maureen Beauregard, President & CEO of Easterseals NH & VT. “The event also provides an opportunity to celebrate staff achievements and awards, as well as review consumer satisfaction survey data. These insights are crucial for Easterseals VT to understand how effectively they support their clients, the benefits their services provide, and identify areas for improvement.”

The findings were reassuring, 90% of respondents that utilized Easterseals VT’s Care Coordination service felt information shared with them was helpful for their family. Care Coordination supports at-risk families in meeting goals like securing housing, furthering education or getting connected to community resources. Here is what one parent had to say:

“My worker is very talented at creating a safe environment for single moms to work with her. I have accomplished a lot in our time working together as well. I noticed that my life has improved since she began working with me. I always look forward to our appointment.”- Care Coordination Parent testimonial

When it came to Easterseals VT’s Family Safety Planning meetings with families, 97% of respondents felt that the space was respectful, the facilitator asked the right questions, and that everyone had a voice.

The festivities included a birthday cake and a special showing of and staff a 40th anniversary video, reflecting on Easterseals VT’s history, growth, and milestones over the past four decades.
